Privacy Policy

Petra Amman Tours is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and collects nothing about you unless you write to us. Here is the whole of it.

What this site stores about you

Nothing. These pages are plain HTML files served from a web host. There is no account, no login, no comment form, no newsletter and no first-party cookie. The date shown as "Updated" on each page is calculated in your own browser from the site's launch date and is never sent anywhere.

Third parties, and when they are involved

• Viator and GetYourGuide. Nothing of theirs loads while you read. The moment you click a booking link you leave this site for theirs, and their own privacy policy and cookies apply from that point. The link carries a code that tells them the referral came from here; it does not carry anything about you.
• Google Maps. The map on the homepage does not load until you press the button. Until you do, nothing has contacted Google. Press it and Google receives the request and may set cookies, under its own policy.
• Our web host. Like every web server, it writes ordinary access logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser string — which exist to keep the site running and are not used to build any profile.
• Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Both tell us which search queries reach these pages, in aggregate. Neither identifies a reader.

If you email us

We keep your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and for a reasonable period afterwards, and we use them for nothing else. We do not add you to a list, and we do not pass them on.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EU you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Since the only thing we could hold is an email you chose to send, that is usually a one-line answer. Write to hello@petraammantours.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with the date it changed. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
